Il progetto LIFE MERCURY-FREE solleva la questione della contaminazione ambientale da mercurio, che proviene da fonti tradizionalmente sottovalutate legate all’uso di beni contenenti mercurio nella vita di tutti i giorni, mal gestiti dai consumatori a causa della mancanza di informazioni e di mezzi di smaltimento a misura di consumatore. Complessa sensibilizzazione e cambiamento di comportamento per un ambiente e città senza mercurio.
